Agreement Signed Between MINEFOP and INBAR at the NTTPDC this 22/05/2025

A significant cooperation agreement was signed this afternoon at the National Trainer Training and Program Development Center (CNFFDP) between the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training (MINEFOP) and the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR).

This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in the field of sustainable development through the promotion and utilization of bamboo and rattan. To implement this initiative, three Support Structures for Reintegration and Training (SAR/SM) have been selected as pilot centers: Mora in the Far North region, Gamba in the Adamawa region, and Dschang in the West.

The heads of these centers were present at the ceremony, highlighting the strategic importance of this initiative for Cameroon.

MINEFOP was accompanied on this occasion by the Secretary of State to the MINEFOP in charge of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Félix MBAYOU, the representative of the Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon, the Central Africa Regional Coordinator of INBAR, the Secretary General of MINEFOP, the Inspector General of Training, as well as several Technical Advisers, Directors, and other senior officials of the ministry.

The ceremony also saw the participation of the Coordinator of ACREGIR, emphasizing the inclusive and multisectoral approach adopted for the implementation of this agreement.
